The King Kong Stop Motion Armature model is a complete recreation and replica of the King Kong model used in 1933 stop motion film. The model is based off of the King Kong Prototype known as "Long Face" Kong due to the facial structure of the model. The 3D model stands 22" tall and is comprised of 387 parts (including screws) and was completely designed and assembled in Fusion 360 over the span of 4 weeks from using only reference photos and screengrabs for dimensions and scale. The screws and nuts are all from catalog and a 3d mesh file of a gorilla skull was used as a base to sculpt from.
